Loved it!

I recently read The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards. It's a very good read. Only after a few weeks of finishing it I discovered there was a movie made based on the book. I usually don't like watching movies after I have read the book, but this one was actually pretty good. The book has 401 pages and everything is very detailed. Like most movies from books some details were left out, but the movie followed the book pretty closely. This is definitely one of my favorite books. Check it out at your local library!

This is one of the few times where I saw the movie without reading the book. It was such a sad story, but well-written!

I bought that book not too long ago but I haven't started reading it yet. I look forward to it!

P.S. I thought about you the other day about the kids not knowing how to tell time. I was teaching Sunday School (I have senior high girls) and I think maybe one of them knew where the Mississippi River was. By the grace of God, I did not laugh...
